ice cream truck

There is not maybe another sound that defines summer quite like the sound of chimes of the ice cream truck.

The other day, we were in the house and Drew took off saying "Ice cream truck! I'm outa here!" with some money clutched in his fist. He didn't even take the time to ask for money- he used his own - most likely he thought that would slow him down too much- smart kid!!! =0)

Oh- these simple things of summer---bring so much pleasure! (I think the sun may have been in his eyes =0)

Celebrating the small things at Tuesday Unwrapped.

We don't have an ice cream truck in our town. It's kind of sad.

The other day I heard the ice cream truck for the first time in what feels like years, and it was all I could do to keep myself from running outside :) That is a priceless picture of your son :)
