Strawberry Dreams

So after picking 30 pounds of strawberries the fun began with trying to figure out what to do with them all!!!

I started with strawberry jam. This is the third year that I have canned jam and it realy is a lot of fun. The kids are a little spoiled now and don't even like jelly/jam from the grocery store anymore. =0)




I canned 30 jars of jam and am hoping that will make it until next canning season!

Then it was onto strawberry shortcake~

And strawberry ice cream~



And strawberry sauce on pancakes~


And strawberry margaritas~


I also froze a ton of sliced berries. I have done so much with strawberries these past few days that I think I am starting to dream strawberries. =0) And soon it is blueberry picking time!
