Favorite Recipe

The recipe that I am sharing is for my Chicken Salad. This recipe is so good and I love to make it for our family, to bring for pot-lucks, and to make for baby and bridal showers. (I can't believe I don't have a picture of this- but trust me it is good! =0)

Chicken Salad

2 cups chicken, cooked and diced
1 cup red grapes, cut in half
1/3 cup slivered almonds
1 cup mandarin oranges
1 Tablespoon green onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup cool whip (not whipping cream)

Mix everything together and chill. Add 1 cup chow mien noodles right before serving.

(I usually at least double this recipe.)
