Our first port was Monday morning in St. Thomas. We have been to this island before on our very first cruise and we were looking forward to the stop this time to explore farther and revisit some spots that we loved.
Coming into port.
Sitting on our balcony and enjoying a pot of coffee while coming into port in the morning is one of our favorite things. It is an amazing way to start the day!
We took a 45 minute ferry boat ride over to St. John's.
St. John's
Trunk's Bay Beach in St. John's. This beach was absolutely beautiful.
Powder white sand, aqua blue water, not too crowded beach, perfect!!!
Jake did a lot of snorkeling. He spent hours (and hours) tanning his back side. :)
These next couple of pictures make me laugh! Jake was snorkeling up and then sneaking up on Drew.
Pete and I.
More of Jake. :)
We then headed back to St. Thomas where our boat was docked and did a quick change and then headed to a spot that we had visited back in 2005 that we just loved! The Skyride to Paradise Point. It is a quick tram way up to some amazing views.
The views here are absolutely spectacular!!
We had no idea that Drew took this next picture (of Pete and I taking pictures) but it made me laugh.
And just for fun...at this very same spot 6 years ago... Look at my munchkins!!! Tyler is 13 (exactly Drew's age right now), Jake is almost 10, and Drew is 7. We all look SO young!! :)
After getting back on the ship, we had a couple of hours to relax and then get ready for Formal Night. Pete and I went out to Sabatini's, the Italian restaurant on the ship. We had an amazing dinner that was a sampling of the best from the kitchen.
It was a perfect way to end a perfect day!!
