On Friday, April 1st, we arrived at our last port of the cruise, Aruba.
Aruba calls itself "One Happy Island".
And it definitely was!!
Our shore excursion on Aruba was a 4WD Safari. We followed our guide (who was hilarious) in a caravan in an off road tour which was so much fun!!
Our first stop was the Casibari Rock Formation.
The climb offered a pretty view of the city.
The climb down. :)
This off road adventure offered some spectacular views!!
Our next stop was the collapsed original Natural Bridge, This was carved from solid limestone and coral by the waves of the Caribbean.
This is probably one of the prettiest spots I have ever seen!!! We could have stayed here forever just taking in all the natural beauty!
The boys thought that this sign (which was in a restaurant) was very funny! :)
More pictures from our off road tour.
A stop at the Alto Vista Chapel.
And a stop at the California Lighthouse.
Our last stop was at the Arashi Beach.
(The boys loved this beach because of the big waves.)
This jeep safari was a blast and such a fun way to see some spectacular sights!
After our excursion we headed back to the ship to drop our bags off and do a quick change of clothes and then headed back out to do a little shopping.
Pete wanted to go into the Diamond International store to' look around'.
And he totally surprised me-- he bought me some beautiful diamond earrings!
I am such a lucky girl!!
After our shopping, we stopped at Iguana Joe's for and appetizer and drinks.
Back at our ship for sail away.
