Grenada

On Wednesday, March 30th we visited the island of Grenada.
Grenada is known as the 'Isle of Spice' and we were told that sometimes you can just smell all the spices as you come into port. (I did buy a bunch of spices on this island to bring home.)
We didn't have any formal tour scheduled this day and decided to let the boys sleep in a bit and then head out to a beach.

We took a 'water taxi' to get to the Grand Anse Beach.

We spent the day on this beautiful beach soaking in the sunshine.

At this beach you rent chairs, umbrellas, etc. from the different vendors walking the beach. This was also the person that would bring the refreshments & food through out the day. This made everything so easy and so very relaxing!

I was being chased by my two snorkelers. :)

We then headed back to the ship.

Back on the ship, Pete and I went to a wine tasting in the Island Dining Room. This is always a fun way to learn about and try some new wines.

And quite possibly the best way to end another great day is with a big hug from my boys!
