We had been planning on taking the Z out for our town's 'Cruise Night' on Friday evening, but with the heat and humidity, and an un-air conditioned car--it just didn't seem like as much fun. Oh well, maybe next year. :)
So instead, we had kind of a quiet weekend and we spent some time out in the evenings sitting in a couple of our favorite spots: in the front of our house
and on our deck.
The heat did break some on Saturday and so we took advantage of that and headed out early for a walk at Ritter Farm Park. I love walking on the trails out here! It is just so pretty and very peaceful!
Also, this weekend- Jake had an interview and got offered a job!!
We made some sun tea.
And attended a birthday celebration for my Mom and my niece.
We embraced the quietness of the weekend and were grateful the intense heat finally lessened!
