After a long day of travel we arrived at our hotel around midnight (4am central time). We were completely surprised the next morning to wake up to this gorgeous view! Ahh, palm trees and sunshine!
We ordered breakfast in the room
and then went out to explore the hotel. The views were amazing!
The Hilton Waikoloa Village is a beautiful property sitting on 38 acres with different scenic views everywhere you turn. There is even a monorail and boats running through the resort.

We enjoyed a beautiful first sunset before heading to dinner.
We went to The Beach Tree Bar at the Four Seasons Resort which was a great outdoor lounge right on the ocean. So beautiful and so very relaxing listening to the waves of the ocean.
I had one of the best meals of my life. Seriously! Pete had a delicious shrimp dish and I had the saffron risotto. The picture on the right does not do it justice, but it was fabulous!
Such a great night and a perfect way to start our 25th anniversary vacation!
