Memory Lane

Tyler had a soccer tournament this past weekend~ which made me think back to when he first started playing soccer way back in kindergarten. He now plays on a Premier Club Team and also high school soccer. He loved running and chasing that ball around as a little guy~ and he still does! :) This picture was Fall 1997~


Oh my- he was so little! And so incredibly cute!

His first year playing travel soccer was in the Spring of 2002. He was in 4th grade~

Ty's tournament this past weekend was in a town about an hour and a half from our house. On Saturday, the team had to be at the field 2 hours early. Ty was going to get a ride up there with a friend and we would meet him there at game time.

His friend picked him up on a mo-ped...


They were going back to the friend's house to get a car- but we got a good laugh out of this! It is all highway driving to the game and I think they would still be driving if they had taken that mo-ped :)
